DeAndre Brackensick sings for his life in front of the judges on AMERICAN IDOL airing Thursday, April 5

DeAndre Brackensick's fabulous falsetto talents will not be the next American Idol.

Despite being praised by all three American Idol judges, Randy Jackson, Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler, for his Wednesday performance of "I Like It," the Idol fans were not as supportive. Neither was mentor Johnny Iovine, who referred to the 17-year-old crooner as "the weakest of the boys last night."

Joining him in the bottom three: songstresses Elise Testone and Hollie Cavanagh, who found herself in jeopardy for the second week in a row.

When host Ryan Seacrest delivered the crushing news that Brackensick was in danger of being eliminated, Lopez gave an equally as heartbreaking response: "We will not be saving you," she told the California native.

Still, Brackensick showed his star power through his confidence backstage post-elimination.

"So I wasn't ready for America right now. Maybe in a couple months, maybe tomorrow you never know," the teen told Us Weekly. "I agree with them 100 percent, and I agree with the judges and Jimmy and what happened. You know, I wish I was still going forward but I am grateful I got to this point."
