"If anything, it should be more fun because when you are in a recession, what do you want to do, dress like you are going to a funeral?" Field said. "You want to have fun and have a good time." Viewers will "absolutely" see all their fave designers in the new flick — and some unknowns.

"It's not so much who you use, it's how you use it," she said. Field hasn't yet seen a script, but she says she's given producers "some of my ideas." And should Sarah Jessica Parker's character become pregnant in the flick — as Chris Noth hinted last week — Field would still make sure she'd look chic.

"I've done quite a bit of maternity so I'm sure I could do it again," Field said. "In the show, Cynthia Nixon had a baby and actually Sarah Jessica was pregnant in real life but not on the show. Right now, I'm working on Ugly Betty and Ana Ortiz is pregnant so we are trying to hide it and there are a few tricks."
