For Julianne Hough, dating Ryan Seacrest is a dream come true — literally!
Speaking to Us Weekly at Fulfillment Fund Stars Gala in Beverly Hills on Oct. 24, the Safe Haven actress revealed that American Idol's Seacrest was her first crush, and years later, the duo is still going strong.
"I'm kind of dating my first celebrity crush, so I feel pretty fortunate," Hough, 24, reasoned of her boyfriend of two years, 37. (Though he's only helmed American Idol since 2002, Seacrest hosted kids' game shows Gladiators 2000 and Click in the '90s and enjoyed a successful career as a disc jockey in his native Atlanta during his teens. He began his stint as the host of KIIS-FM's On Air With Ryan Seacrest in 2004.)

One thing that strengthens the couple's intense bond? Their like-minded approach to their careers. "I'm a very anxious person. If I'm not working, I go crazy," she tells Glamour. "I've been lucky in my career. But if I lost everything tomorrow — and had no money — I would somehow make it work. I have that survivor mentality because of a lot of stuff that went on in a previous life. I feel like I've had four lives."
While Seacrest was the one who stole her heart, Hough explains that her Safe Haven costar, Josh Duhamel, is just as great a catch. "The countless laughs that we had, his generosity, the way he was with the kids, the great skills that he has as an actor . . . the list goes on," Hough enthused when asked what she loved best about filming the upcoming romantic drama — based on the book by Nicholas Sparks — with Duhamel. "He's a really incredible guy, and being able to hang out with [his wife] Fergie on set was super fun, too."
