Matt Lanter never realized how stressful wedding planning can be until he decided to get married himself. Luckily, the 90210 actor's fiancee, Angela Stacy, is taking care of the finer details.
"I'm along for the ride," Lanter, 29, told Us Weekly at the Rape Treatment Center's annual fundraising brunch in Beverly Hills October 14. "She brings me choices and I say yes or no, and typically it's always 'yes' because whatever she chooses looks good!"
Though the couple has agreed on a wedding date, "We actually haven't even sent out invitations or save-the-dates," Lanter admitted. "It's kind of early in the process." One thing the actor does know, however, is that the ceremony will "be outdoorsy. I'm a huge fan of nature and she is, too."
Engaged since June, Lanter and Stacy — who both hail from Ohio — are "working away trying to find all kinds of vendors, cakes, flowers and all that crazy stuff," the actor said. "It's all the little things, from live music to singing and deejays."
When they're not busy planning for their big day, Lanter and his bride-to-be typically "sit at home and chill and sit in the hot tub or watch The Walking Dead," the actor said. "We're kind of homebodies and like to stay home and just enjoy each other, our place and our dog."
Every so often, they even watch 90210 together. "I record it, so whenever I have some time, I flip it on," Lanter admitted. Though the show has scored a series of A-list guest stars in its fifth season (including Carly Rae Jepsen and Ryan Lochte), there's one actor Lanter is dying to work with.
"I would aim high, like Leonardo DiCaprio or something," Lanter laughed of the A-lister, 37. "That guy does amazing work! Put it out there — see if he calls back!"
