Kate Gosselin's kids finally got some quality time with their mom. On Tuesday, Gosselin was snapped with playtime — not dance rehearsal — on her agenda.
Wearing a purple tanktop, her hair extensions swept back, a smiling Gosselin, 34, pushed two of her sextuplets in a kid-sized ATV outsider her Wernersville, Penn. home. Later that same day, she was photographed at a local tanning salon.
The single parent has been rehearsing nonstop with pro partner Tony Dovolani in a makeshift dance studio in her basement; most of her DWTS competitors have been honing their steps in Los Angeles.
When the competition begins March 22, Gosselin will be 2400 miles away from home at least three nights a week. Her nine-year-old twins and five-year-old sextuplets will be cared for by five nannies while she's away. A source confirmed to Us Weekly that Gosselin was away for nearly two weeks from Feb. 21 to March 5 promoting her stint on the show — and that her kids have been "depressed" and "acting out" as a result.
"They were asking 'When is Mommy coming home?'" an insider tells Us.
Where's their dad? Jon Gosselin, 32, recently moved into his 25-year-old girlfriend Morgan Christie's parents' house in Park City, Utah. "Kate won't let Jon have extra custody," a source explains. "She thinks they're better off with a nanny."
