What does Melissa Rycroft think of Brad Womack's just-confirmed return to The Bachelor?
"It's an interesting decision!" she tells UsMagazine.com.
The hunky Texan, 37, made Bachelor history in 2007 by rejecting both DeAnna Pappas and Jenni Croft on-air. (Rycroft, 27, can relate: She was famously ditched by Bachelor Jason Mesnick a few seasons back.)
Despite fans' outrage at Womack's move, Rycroft tells Us he's "a great guy. I don't think he made a bad decision the first time around. I don't hold anything against him. I am excited to see what happens this time."
"The Bachelor franchise is very creative, and they're known for mixing stuff up last minute and surprising the audience," she adds. "So it'll be interesting to see how they change the format."
Rycroft's husband, Tye Strickland, also is supportive of Womack. "I think he's going to be great!" he says. "I think he did exactly what he was supposed to do [last time]. I mean, was he supposed to pick a girl he really didn't fall in love with? I support him."
