Newlyweds Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds better get crackin’ on some babies!
Before the couple’s surprise, top-secret wedding in South Carolina over the weekend, Lively, 25, was bowling over with pre-marital bliss in an interview for the October issue of Allure magazine, on stands Sept. 25.
“Right now, I’m so peaceful,” says the Gossip Girl actress, whose romance with Green Lantern costar Reynolds, 35, went public in October of last year. “I’ve never been happier in my life,” she adds.
Just six months into their romance, Lively and once-divorced Reynolds began house hunting together, and ended up purchasing a property in Westchester County, just north of New York City.
Happiness, Lively tells Allure, is a conscious choice. “It’s the choice that you have to wake up every day and say, ‘There’s no reason today can’t be the best day of my life.'” For her walk down the aisle, the fashion superstar wore a custom-made Marchesa ballgown.
Although Lively didn’t mention Reynolds by name or divulge any wedding plans whatsoever during the interview, she did reveal her fervent wish to procreate — alot!
“I’ve always wanted a big family,” says the star, whose exes include Leonardo DiCaprio and Gossip Girl costar Penn Badgley. “Oh, I’d love 30 [children] if I could.”
And now that Lively is officially settling down, don’t expect her to deprive herself of comfort food for the sake of her world-famous bod.
“I obviously have plenty of imperfections on my body,” says the avid cook and baker, “but I’d rather have a little bit of cellulite and go do a food trip and try every ice cream place in the South.”
Reynolds finalized his divorce from Scarlett Johansson in July 2011; he and rocker Alanis Morissette were engaged from 2004 to 2007, but never made it down the aisle.
