Every marriage has its ups and downs — but very few have the added pressure of cameras capturing every hiccup.
That's why Kris Jenner confessed to Us Weekly (at Kendall and Kylie Jenner's Seventeen cover party in L.A. Thursday night) she's having a hard time sitting through Season 7 of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
Married to Bruce Jenner since 1991, Kris, 56, said everyone in the family had their "own challenges to get through" over the course of the season.
Her personal challenge? Marital tensions. "I watch it back and I'm like, 'Oh my God, I can't watch,'" the Kardashian matriarch admitted. "It's so crazy painful that I can't watch it."
On Sunday's episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kris reunited with a former fling, Todd Waterman, behind her husband's back, determined to get "closure" 23 years after their affair. (The self-proclaimed "momager" cheated on her late husband, Robert Kardashian, Sr., with Waterman).
Hoping to do the right thing, Kris came clean to Bruce following her meet-up with Waterman — but he didn't take her admission all that well.
"What an idiot you are!" he seethed. "I don't know how I can trust you!"
Daughters Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian sided with their stepdad — Khloe even called Kris a "whore" — and urged their mom to take a lie detector test to prove, once and for all, her meeting with Waterman meant nothing. (Kris passed the test.)
Since then, Kris said, she and Bruce have managed to put their rough patch behind them.
"Bruce and I are okay and that's all that matters," she shared. "The kids understand. It's just hard to watch. I just can't wait until Season 8!"
