Jenelle Evans is back with her on-again, off-again bad boy boyfriend Kieffer Delp, and the Teen Mom 2 star is on her way to ridding herself of her ex-fiance, Gary Head, once and for all.
On Monday, RadarOnline.com confirmed that Evans — mom to son Jace, 3 — was granted a one-year order of protection against Head following a brutal June 24 altercation, in which the Marine allegedly tried to strangle Evans with a bed sheet.
According to a RadarOnline.com source, Evans’ order of protection prohibits Head from having any contact with his ex via phone, email, in person or through a third party.
Confirming her engagement to Head in May, Evans accepted his princess-cut solitaire diamond ring, but their pre-wedded bliss was painfully brief. Following their June altercation, Head was thrown in jail and charged with assault and drug possession. Evans was also jailed on a drug possession charge.
Appearing in court Monday, Evans had four pending charges against her — including simple assault, marijuana possession, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance — dismissed, according to E! News.
In the time since splitting from Head, Evans has rekindled her relationship with Delp. “If you have heard or not, me and Kieffer are officially dating again,” Evans wrote in a Facebook post in July. “We are both very happy about this decision and are both in a better place in our lives where trouble isn’t going to follow us anymore. A new leaf has turned.”
