If Cat Cora's June 28 mugshot looks a little more polished than most — it's because she had quite a bit of time to get gussied up beforehand.
On June 17, the celebrity chef, 44, was taken into police custody in Santa Barbara, Calif. and charged with a DUI, though she left the station just a few hours later. Because she didn't take a mugshot that evening, she had to return to the station eleven days later, where she posed for a surprisingly pretty pic.
Cora — whose blood alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit at the time of her arrest — was charged after her car hit another vehicle stopped at a crosswalk line. No one was hurt in the accident, though the Around the World in 80 Plates host says she understands the seriousness of her crime.
"I deeply regret my decision to drive that evening after my designated driver became unavailable," the Bravo star said in a statement (via Access Hollywood). "I learned a very important lesson from this experience and take full accountability for my actions. This will never happen again."
