The day after Halloween could be really scary for Nancy Grace or David Arquette!
On Monday's Halloween-themed Dancing with the Stars, TV commentator Grace, 52, and actor Arquette, 40, landed in the bottom.
Dancing the jive to "The Devil Went Down to Georgia," Grace and professional partner Tristan MacManus earned the night's lowest score of 21 points out of a possible 30.
While judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman, and Bruno Tonioli agreed the blonde (dressed as a devil) danced with great enthusiasm, her footwork slowed her down and kept her and MacManus out of sync. "It just kind of came in and out of the choreography," Inaba noted. Tonioli agreed, suggesting, "Nancy my darling, I think the devil got you. Your shoes are too small!"
Another frightening element that could eliminate Grace was the group Tango dance. Earning 23 points compared to the Paso Doble group's 26 points, Goodman told team Tango, "Each one of the individual performances was a disaster."
Meanwhile, Arquette and pro partner Kym Johnson fared a smidge better — nabbing a second-lowest score of 24. Dancing the Cha Cha to "Abracadabra," the duo brought in professional magician Todd Karr to spruce up their tricks during rehearsal.
And maybe Karr's magic worked a little? Although Arquette was bested by fellow contestants Ricki Lake and Rob Kardashian, (Lake earned the night's highest score of 27 points and Rob was applauded for his role in the group Paso Doble) he still managed to earn raves from the judges.
"Lots of tricks and lots of treats!" Goodman told him. "You've turned yourself into a dancer here."
