Just call him Prince Valiant!

After showing his support for his country at the 2012 London Olympics earlier this month, Prince William got back to work at his post as a RAF search-and-rescue captain where the action seemed to pick right up.

On Thursday off the coast of Anglesey, Wales, the 30-year-old royal came to the rescue of two teen girls, 13 and 16, when they were left stranded in the water. E! News reported on Friday that nearby surfers alerted authorities and William and his team swooped into complete their mission via helicopter rescue.

The future King of England and husband of Kate Middleton has been part of the RAF since 2010 after he graduated from a 19-month training course, which included 70 hours of flying, plus 50 hours of simulator training. Earlier this summer, he was appointed as an operational captain and has since been commanding operations in RAF helicopters as Flight Lieutenant Wales.

In May, a spokesman told Us Weekly that the royal will come to a crossroads  in mid-2013 when his tour with the RAF ends. "[Prince William] will have to make a decision in due course about his future career," the spokesman said. "His options include taking another tour of duty with the RAF Search and Rescue Force; applying for a new positions within the Armed Forces; or ending his military role and taking on full-time Royal duties."
