Nominee Katherine Heigl Won’t Cross Picket Line to Attend Golden Globes

Grey's Anatomy star Katherine Heigl might not be at the Golden Globes to hear her name among the nominees for Best Supporting Performance in a Drama Series.

She tells Entertainment Tonight: "I'm not crossing the picket line unless I'm contractually obliged to do so. And I'm not with the Golden Globes."

House actor Hugh Laurie alluded to the strike in statement to Usmagazine.com: "I have to emphasize how much I owe to David Shore and all the writers on House. Without them, I wouldn't even know how to finish this sentence without… you know…"

Laurie is nominated for his role and House was recognized as a Best Television Series — Drama contender.

30 Rock's Tina Fey said in a statement to Usmagazine.com: "I'm very excited and grateful to the Hollywood Foreign Press. It's a happy piece of news in this weird season."

Fey and co-star Alec Baldwin are nominated for their performances and 30 Rock received a nod for Best Television Series — Comedy.
