Natina Reed, Rapper and Bring It On Star, Dead at 32

Actress and musician Natina Reed died outside Atlanta on Friday after being hit by a car, E! News confirmed. Reed was a member of the R&B group Blacque and co-starred in the 2000 smash cheerleading movie Bring It On.

Authorities told E! that "Reed was in the roadway on Lawrenceville Highway near Hamilton Road when struck," and the driver immediately called 911; she was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital at 10:59 p.m. EST.

The driver was "determined to be not at fault," authorities added.

Reed is survived by 10-year-old Tren Brown, her son with rapper Kurupt. Brandi Williams and Shamari Fears-DeVoe, her bandmates from Blacque (with hits like "808") mourned her loss in a joint statement released Saturday.

Reed was a protege of TLC's Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes — who herself passed away in a 2002 car accident.
