She played it super safe in a demure white Rafael Cennamo silk halter dress and a sparkly Ranjana Khan belt, but when it came to her makeup look for Sunday night's 2011 Teen Choice Awards in Universal City, Calif., Taylor Swift went with a decidedly bolder approach.
The superstar, who took home six awards making her the most honored winner in the history of the show, sported a vibrant pop of color on her eyes.
"Since this was Teen Choice, held in August in sunny Los Angeles, Taylor and I wanted to go with a summery, youthful look," the star's makeup artist Lorrie Turk tells Us Weekly. "To us, that meant color, especially since she had a cream palette for her dress."

To create the vibrant hue, Turk applied COVERGIRL Eye Enhancers1-Kit Shadows in Turquoise Tempest topped with Exact Eyelights Eye-Brightening Eyeliner in Radiant Sapphire. The result: a beautiful, bright seafoam green shade.
When Swift wasn't busy accepting all of her awards onstage, she bonded with actress Ashley Greene. The two twentysomethings have a lot in common — including one sexy Jonas Brother.
The country crooner, 21, and Twilight Saga star, 24, caught up in the audience during the show and happily posed for pictures together.
