Beyonce and Jay-Z's little girl Blue Ivy Carter sure has made a lasting impression on her aunt, Solange Knowles.
"I think babies in general are so lovable — and my sister's baby, Blue, is so beautiful. She is really a beautiful little baby," Solange, 25, tells Rollacoaster magazine, as excerpted by JustJared.
The mom of 7-year-old son Julez, singer/DJ Solange says she relishes her relationship with Blue Ivy, born January 7 in New York City.
"It's very different to being a mother, but there's still that sort of magnetic bond and love that you can’t even put words on to describe," she gushed. "It's really special to have a niece because I have a son, so I get to have a little girl too."
While she mulls over her return to the studio — with two albums reportedly planned for 2012 — Beyonce is having fun being in full-on mommy mode.
Nursing Blue Ivy at their Scarsdale, New York mansion and $6.85 million Tribeca loft, a source tells Us Weekly Beyonce is "enjoying the time off" and "has been totally doting on Blue…She's up whenever the baby's up!"
