This Lohan got lucky! Lindsay Lohan's mother Dina Lohan got her driver's license suspended on Tuesday, June 3, but at least she's not going to jail.
Lohan, 51, was arrested last September for speeding and driving drunk on a highway in her native Long Island. According to the state police, her blood-alcohol level was 0.20, which is more than two times the legal threshold.
On Tuesday, a judge ordered the mother of four to pay $3,000 in fines, and sentenced her to 100 hours of community service in New York State. Dina is also required to use an interlock device—which will only allow her car to start if she's sober.
Finally, Lohan has been ordered to sign on for a drunk-driving program.
Last month, Lohan pleaded guilty to the incident and opted for a plea deal. Lohan said at the time that she was running away from paparazzi.
Her lawyer, Mark Jay Heller, released a statement to ABC News and said: "In spite of the fact that the District Court of Nassau County dispenses the sternest DWI Sentences in America, which traditionally provides for a period of incarceration and three years of Probation, Dina Lohan's Sentence did not provide for any period of incarceration or Probation, in light of Dina Lohan's exemplary record with no prior arrest history and in deference to the Nassau County Screening Evaluation of Ms. Lohan which concluded that she has no alcohol or substance abuse issues."
"Clearly, it was recognized that Dina Lohan has been a life-long resident of Nassau County, a good and loving Parent to four children and the arrest was borne out of an isolated act of indiscretion on the occasion of her 50th Birthday," Heller continued in the statement. "Dina Lohan is happy to put this unfortunate event behind her."
