To most, Private Practice star Kate Walsh mght seem perfectly thin. The actress, however, says she's happy with her fuller figure — and doesn't plan to change it.

"I've never been skinny. I've never been a size zero," Walsh, 41, told Usmagazine.com at the Blow Out Cancer event Monday in Los Angeles. "Even when I was born, I was probably bigger than the other babies. It's really not a priority to me."

The 5-foot-9 actress — who donned a fat suit to play Nicki Fifer on Drew Carey in the late '90s — says she has always been a yo-yo dieter.

"I try to eat healthy foods, but then of course I really do love junk food, too. I still love my potato chips. I try to eat organic, but it's … really expensive and not everybody can do that," Walsh continues.

To combat her sweet tooth, Walsh says, she's tried every diet on the market.

"I've done every diet there is. When I quit smoking years ago, I did the cabbage soup diet. I went on Atkins because I was going to have foot surgery," Walsh — whose Private Practice premieres Oct. 1 on ABC — has told Women's Health magazine. "I knew I wouldn't be able to move or work out, and I was afraid of becoming huge. I remember sitting by the pool with my legs elevated, eating a mixing bowl's worth of whipped cream with Equal in it."
