Demi Lovato looked more confident than ever at Tuesday's HTC Status Social launch event in Hollywood.
"I'm more relaxed this time around," the BCBG Max Azria-clad Disney star told Us Weekly. "I'm not as stressed and freaking out, like 'Do I look okay here?' I'm like, whatever. What you see is what you get and I'm having fun."
Even still, the 18-year-old admitted that it was "kind of nerve racking" to be back on the red carpet. (Her last official appearance was a press conference for Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam in October 2010.)
Lovato famously checked into an Illinois rehab facility in November to deal with "emotional and physical issues." Since being released in January, the "Skyscraper" singer has been open about her "life-long" eating disorder and other emotional problems.
"I get all these tweets that are like, 'Because you shared your story I got help,' or 'I quit cutting,' or 'I got help for my eating disorder,' and that's why I'm in this. That's why I shared my story," Lovato told Us. "At the end of the day, if I can help someone and inspire someone, then I'm good."
