Bossypants, bodacious bod!

A radiant Tina Fey hit the Primetime Emmy Awards at L.A.'s Staples Center on Sunday — just five weeks after giving birth to Penelope Athena, her second daughter with husband Jeff Richmond.

Although she skipped the red carpet, Fey debuted her impressive post-baby bod on the Emmys stage along with the five other nominees for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy during a hilarious comedy bit. (When Rob Lowe and Sofia Vergara announced Amy Poehler as the first nominee, the Parks and Recreation star bum-rushed the stage, with Fey, Laura Linney, Edie Falco, Martha Plimpton and eventual winner Melissa McCarthy following.)

To hear the 41-year-old 30 Rock star tell it, Mommy's big night out almost happen.

"I truly almost didn't pull it together," Fey told Us Weekly at the post-awards Governor's Ball. "I can't believe I did!"

Fey flew solo for the big night, with composer hubby Richmond staying behind in NYC. "My husband decided to stay home in New York and watch the girls," she explained. "But actually he hired a babysitter too. So they have dad – and a babysitter for backup!"

Born Aug. 10, Penelope is "doing great," Fey added — as is older daughter Alice, 5. "Alice is an amazing big sister."

Fey wasn't the only hot mama from 30 Rock at Sunday's bash. Her costar Jane Krakowski, who welcomed son Bennett back in April, showed off her taut physique in lame J. Mendel Mica gown.
