Name: Bryan Greenberg

Occupation: Actor; singer/songwriter

Sandal scandal: The How to Make it In America star — who calls his style "classic, calm, effortless, subtle, a little edge, raw and comfortable" — got his first style lesson when he moved to NYC at age 18: "No Tevas! I'm from the Midwest where all they wore in the 90s were Tevas and really baggy clothes. I learned fast that you can't get by on the same clothes in NY that you were wearing in St. Louis!" These days he sticks to J. Crew, Rag & Bone, Alexander Wang and Dior.

Big tick-et item: "One of my most prized possessions is a vintage Rolex from 1955," says Greenberg, who is currently touring with singer Julia Sinclair to promote his February album, We Don't Have Forever. "I'd only had little calculator watches so I was looking all over for a real watch. I found this one at a store on the Lower East Side called Vain. I splurged."

Female Fashion: "I don't like when girls try to hard or reveal too much," says the HBO actor (season two of How to Make it In America premieres October 2). "I feel like girls in New York have a really good sense of style. I like the boots that come up a bit that show a little leg with a skirt and a sexy top. But then I also like it when seeing girls in cool t-shirts and baseball hats watching the game at a sports bar."

QUOTE: "I always had my own sense of style, I always kind of wanted to, express myself through fashion and look a little different then other people."

Name: Victor Rasuk

Occupation: Actor

Just for kicks: The Harlem native — who stars on How to Make It In America — has a sneaker obsession that has grown as steadily as his stardom. "My shoe collection went from being okay to gangsta since I joined the show," Rasuk says of the HBO hit, which returns this October.

His favorite pair: "My number 3 Jordans are the most magical shoes ever. Back in the day, there was a dunk contest and Michael Jordan jumped from the free throw line with those shoes on. I'm still kind of under the spell of that time when I was 10 and I watched Michael Jordan jump or leap or fly."

Girl power: Rasuk calls his signature style "contemporary, ghetto elegant, yet fabulous," but he didn’t always have control over his clothing. "When I was younger, I always had a lot of women in my life -— cousins, aunts, my mom. For a long time, they would piece?my outfits together, like ‘the girls will like this, you should wear this. Put this on.’ When I got old enough I said ‘you don’t have to dress me anymore!'" These days, the actor is "a T-shirt and jeans kind of guy" who favors APC, Armani and Kenneth Cole.

Dapper dudes: "I love Benicio del Toro's style. I love how he'll come out one day and look like he’s homeless, then he'll put on something and clean up. You can tell the dude knows how to dress," says Rasuk, who's also inspired by the threads of Cary Grant and fellow honoree Pharrell Williams. My style is not consistent it depends how I feel.

QUOTE: "I always wear a NY Yankees cap. I go through one every six months. I’m probably on my third month now."
