After shedding a whopping 199 pounds to become The Biggest Loser's season 13 champ, 23-year-old Jeremy Britt isn't going to Disneyland…he's buying a new car!
The only catch? He's not using his $250,000 winnings to snap the vehicle for himself: He's making the purchase for controversial Biggest Loser contestant Buddy Shuh.
"The first thing I gotta do is buy Buddy a minivan. When he left the show, all he said he wanted from the show was a minivan so I'm going to buy it," he told Us Weekly after his victory Tuesday of pal Shuh, who quit the show along with Mark Cornelison two weeks before the finale. "That's my first purchase!"
Losing an impressive 51.16 percent of his body weight, the Rockford, Mich., banker — who first weighed in at 389 pounds — calls his victory "surreal."
Equally as excited is his 24-year-old sister, Conda, who placed third at Tuesday's finale, behind Kim Nielsen. "Getting to the finale with Jeremy was of course what we came here to do — it was like goal one, but I knew that Jeremy had it in him to be the winner," Conda told Us.
Striving to lose one pound per day in the time between leaving the Biggest Loser ranch and the finale, this season's champ stuck to a strict menu of lean chicken, fish and vegetables, ran and worked out using his own body weight.
Unlike other Biggest Loser champs who choose to make fitness a profession after their win, Jeremy says he'll keep to his normal routine, while adapting the lessons he's learned at the ranch to fit his daily life. "I'm a normal person who lives a normal life and I'll go back to doing that and I incorporate this health and fitness into it," he explained. "I keep going."
