Who Should Replace Charlie Sheen on Two and a Half Men?

One day after CBS dropped Charlie Sheen from their lineup and declared his services on Two and a Half Men no longer necessary, a handful of A-list replacement names have already been floated.

Though John Stamos was rumored to be in the running to replace Sheen, 45, as of last week, TMZ.com reports Two and a Half Men's creator, Chuck Lorre, has been in talks with Parks and Recreation's Rob Lowe to assume the role of Charlie Harper.

For his part, Stamos dispelled contract talks via Twitter, blogging that "Contrary to the rumors, i am not replacing charlie sheen on two and half men. however, martin sheen has asked me to be his son."

But Stamos is not the only actor taking to the micro-blogging site to offer their thoughts. Seinfeld's Jason Alexander jokingly threw his hat into the ring on Monday.

"As an act of pure selflessness, I would like to volunteer my services to step into his role, so that millions of fans around the world will not be disappointed," Alexander blogged. "Finding myself in this generous state, I will forego contract negotiations and merely assume the unfinished contract of Mr. Sheen, himself…I could also play the "half-man" of the title, as I am considered diminutive by most measures."

While no casting decisions have been made and the future of CBS' highest-rated sitcom remains to be seen, Sheen has publicly vowed to seek vengeance on Warner Bros. and CBS after Two and a Half Men was put on hiatus February 24 as a result of Sheen's erratic "statements, conduct and condition."
