Country Music Couple Joey and Rory Create Viral Videos to Campaign for ACM Award

Leave it to country music's feistiest new duo to take their cause to the people! This year, the Academy Of Country Music Awards (airing live from Las Vegas on CBS Sunday night at 8 p.m.) are combining the winners of the Top New Vocal Duo, Top New Vocal Group and Top New Vocal artist category to create one "supercategory" voted on by the fans and announced live on the 25th annual awards broadcast.

Fans have already been voting at VoteACM.com and have until Sunday to pick between already selected winners Joey+Rory, Gloriana and Luke Bryan (respectively) for the unique way to give out the prize. And Joey+Rory are already fighting hard for it: Check out the video above (the first of two; view the other clip here) the husband and wife duo created to make sure they nab the prize.

The couple (now at work on their sophomore disc, Album No. 2, set to debut this summer) already picked up their Best New Duo trophy during the GAC special ACM Top New Artists on April 1, where Joey told host Trace Adkins, "I grew up gathered around the TV with my family watching my favorite singers win ACM awards. I can't believe we've actually won one."

If you like the clip, vote now before tuning in to see if their campaign worked and the "A Little More Country Than That" singers take the prize. For this year's full list of nominees, check out the show's Web site.
