Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi are on the move!
Seven months after moving into the Malibu, Calif., mansion formerly owned by Brad Pitt, the couple have flipped the property, selling it for $13 million — $1 million more than their purchase price — to a cosmetics entrepreneur, public records and The Real Estalker report.
Overlooking the Pacific Ocean with a pool and tennis court, the property includes two separate houses and private beach access. Inside, the digs feature glass walls, over-sized chandeliers and stainless steel appliances.
Pitt’s former property isn’t the only real estate flip that DeGeneres, 54, and de Rossi, 39, have made recently. Trulia.com reports that the couple sold their Beverly Hills estate to Ryan Seacrest for $37.5 million, and purchased the former Beverly Hills home of Hollywood producer Robert Cort for $17.4 million.
Over the years, Pitt has become quite friendly with DeGeneres and de Rossi, who wed in 2008. Teaming with DeGeneres to host a fundraiser for Pitt’s Make It Right Foundation earlier this year, Pitt has made multiple appearances on her daytime talk show, and even toured her around the Lower Ninth Ward in New Orleans, the Hurricane Katrina-ravaged area he aims to rebuild.
Pitt — who proposed to longtime love Angelina Jolie in April 2012 — first purchased the Malibu residence for $4.8 million in 2005 just after divorcing Jennifer Aniston.
