Fans got their first glimpse of Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson's highly-anticipated wedding scene when the Breaking Dawn trailer premiered Sunday, but according to several of the film's stars, things weren't as picture perfect in real life.
"It was brutal. It was freezing, it was raining, and we were in corsets," 35-year-old Elizabeth Reaser, who plays matriarch Esme Cullen, told MTV.
"Everybody was uncomfortable, but when we were rolling, it was the most beautiful moment," she clarified during an interview with Access Hollywood. "It's supposed to be a dream wedding. They spent months and months and months putting this thing together. It's everything you'd want when getting married."
Despite the unfortunate weather, Reaser's onscreen husband Peter Facinelli (who plays Carlisle) remembers the scene fondly. "It was beautiful," the actor, 37, told MTV. "I just wish we had a little bit more vampire clouds and we weren't getting drenched on."
Billy Burke, who plays Stewart's father, Charlie Swan, said his character was less enthused by Bella and Edward's nuptials. "I think it's pretty obvious that there's some discomfort in it, so I'll leave it at that," he told MTV.
