Ashley Greene has gone red!
Twilight's Alice Cullen ditched her brunette locks for a fiery red hue Friday, just in time to head to South Africa to begin promotional duties for the final Twilight film, Breaking Dawn – Part 2.
"Jason Backe is working some magic on my hair at the Ted Gibson salon," Greene, 25, tweeted Friday from New York City. "It's going to be crazy and exciting."
Greene showed off her new 'do while lunching with friends in the Big Apple on Saturday.
While legions of Twilight fans will be sorry to see the mega-smash film franchise draw to a close with November's final installment, Greene looks forward to taking on other projects with her added free time. One thing Greene says she'll miss however, is the luxury Twilight afforded her on a daily basis.
"Twilight has ruined me. When this is all over, flying internationally is going to be very hard for me," the actress says in the November issue of Marie Claire. "It is just not worth it to buy a first class ticket, because of the cost."
Says the star, "I'm lucky because my dad taught me to be frugal and save. And that's important because I want to know that I don't have to take an acting job for two or three years if I don't want to and that I'll still be able to make my house and car payments and buy food for my dogs."
