Gwyneth Paltrow and husband Chris Martin are very rarely photographed together, but the couple was snapped by photographers shopping with their children Thursday in Culver City, Calif.
Paltrow, 40, held hands with daughter Apple, 8, while her Martin, 35, walked beside son Moses, 6. The Coldplay singer carried two large shopping bags of toys while heading out of Toys "R" Us with his family.
Although the couple has been married for nearly nine years, they go out of their way to avoid being photographed together. "It doesn't behoove us to be a public couple," Paltrow told ELLE UK in 2009. "He certainly doesn't want that. We've never ever walked down a red carpet together, we never will."
But maybe they're ready to change their ways?
On Oct. 22, the couple was spotted joining Paltrow's pal Cameron Diaz for sushi and drinks at Sugar Fish in L.A.'s Brentwood neighborhood.
"Gwyneth is a nurturer," a source explained. "Cameron is bummed about being single, so Gwyneth sees her as a project. She's trying to set her up with guys!"
