Sour times for Snooki.
The self-described "guidette," 21, was booed Friday morning at Philadelphia's Wing Bowl, an annual eating contest.
As she stepped out in front of the sold-out crowd at the Wachovia Center, people began heckling the MTV Jersey Shore star (real name: Nicole Polizzi).
When her image appeared on a big screen, they began booing loudly, according to local newspaper reports.
Despite the harsh reaction, she kept on fist-pumping.
Later, while being interviewed by a local TV station, she was asked how she felt about the booing incident. She said, "It's Philadelphia!" and gave the camera the middle finger.
After the event, Snooki Twittered that the city was "nuts" "Wingbowl Is insane!" she wrote. "Wish they had this in ny! Flyin to chi town tonight for manor! Wheww"
It was recently announced that Jersey Shore will be returning for a second season. Shooting is set to begin in an undisclosed location in a few weeks.
Reports have surfaced the cast will go from $200 to $10,000 an episode.
Jenni "JWoww" Farley said on the Today show Monday that, "generally speaking," that's true.
