The rarely photographed actor was spotted carrying his 3-year-old daughter, Charlotte, in L.A's Brentwood neighborhood October 18. It's the first time the She's All That leading man has been seen since he and wife Sarah Michelle Gellar, 35, welcomed their second child, a boy, in late September. (The spouses of 10 years have yet to reveal their newborn's name.)
Sporting salt-and-pepper hair and a heather gray V-neck tee, the dutiful dad, 36, strolled through town holding his daughter in one arm and her pink and brown backpack in the other. Since welcoming a second child last month, the stars are "so happy," a source close to the couple tells Us Weekly.
When Gellar returned to TV in 2011 on The CW's Ringer (which has since been canceled), the actress spoke to Us about how she and her hubby often "fight about who gets to stay home" with Charlotte.
"He loves it," she said. "You'd think it would be the opposite, that the parents would be like, 'No, I'll go to work!' but he's like, 'You stayed home for two years! It's my turn!'"
"He and Charlotte have too much fun," Gellar added. "I'm jealous!"
