At the MTV Movie Awards in L.A. June 3, stunning South African actress Charlize Theron turned heads in a strapless peplum dress by Lanvin. The Young Adult star, 37, paired the fashion-forward frock with Jimmy Choo heeled sandals and a gold Cartier bracelet.
Months later, E! reality star Kim Kardashian, 31, was photographed wearing the same Lanvin look while exiting her hotel in New York City September 5 to wear for her interview on The View. Unlike Theron, Kardashian — who wore her hair down and painted her nails black — paired the ensemble with matching red spiked stilettos.

Kardashian is in the Big Apple to host an event at Lord & Taylor during Fashion's Night Out September 6. Beginning at 6 p.m. at the store's Fifth Avenue and 39th Street location, Kanye West's girlfriend will sign bottles of her True Reflection fragrance.
"Fashion's Night Out is such a fun event that I look forward to each year," Kardashian blogged. "I'm excited to be spending it in NYC."
