Time flies!

Next week marks a major milestone for the Gosselin family.

As famous single mom Kate Gosselin recently blogged, "ALL EIGHT OF MY CHILDREN will, for the first time ever, ATTEND FULL-TIME SCHOOL this year!!!!"

That's right: now 6-years-old, Kate and ex-husband Jon's famous sextuplets Aaden, Joel, Collin, Alexis, Hannah and Leah will become full-time elementary schoolers alongside 9-year-old twin sisters Cary and Mady.

"I stand in awe, amazement and slight sadness at the thought of this [insert sad, nostalgic mommy music here please]," Kate, 35, writes of the big back-to-school moment.

Looking back on her pregnancy with the six kids, she says, "I can remember …. thinking ahead to the day when I would send eight children off to school Monday through Friday…at the time, the thought of having eight children at home Monday through Friday scared the living bejeebers out of me."

Kate adds that, at the time, she "drew the conclusion that someday my house would, thanks to the school system, sorta somewhat calm down again … Uh yeah, or so I hoped!"

Since the sextuplets' birth, of course, the Gosselin brood became massive reality stars via their TLC show, Jon and Kate divorced late last year, and Kate had a memorable run on ABC's Dancing With the Stars.

"Reaching this milestone is a privilege that is never a guarantee — extra especially not in a high-risk sextuplet pregnancy," Kate writes. "I feel honored (even if a bit sad) to send them marching off to school…Just like Snow White and her 8 (please, just on this occasion?)Dwarfs!"
