Samantha's got sass!
Kim Cattrall was in no mood for chit-chat on the red carpet at Wednesday's NYC premiere of her new film, Meet Monica Velour. According to NY Post's Page Six, the Sex and the City star snapped at their reporter for not having a "respectable" job and went on a rant about ageism in Hollywood.
"Ask me about being a woman," Cattrall said. "Do you know what it's like to be 54 and marginalized? It doesn't get easier as you get older."
Cattrall gained 20 pounds for her role in Monica Velour. In the movie, she plays an aging porn star living in a rural Indiana trailer park.
She continued in her rant against the reporter: "Why don't you work at–what's that news agency–Roybers?" she barked. (It's Reuters.) "Yeah, sorry, I've been drinking," she said when corrected.
"What about writing for a blog? Then you can write about what you want (or) care about," she added angrily.

The interviewer tried to break the ice with Cattrall by addressing an outlandish rumor involving the star and a bikini wax. "That's a stupid question," she barked. "You're a smart girl. How could you want to write that?"
The actress got even more ticked off when she learned that the reporter hadn't seen her movie. "You didn't see my film," she huffed. "Why are you even here?"
