Jessica Simpson's perfect guy?
"I want a confident man," she said Monday evening on Barbara Walters' SIRIUS XM Radio show, Here's Barbara. "A man who understands me and can deal with my life and is not embarrassed of my life. And can support my life. And allow me to be a powerful woman. And allow me to be powerful in the relationship. I'm not going to give up my role in this life to just be a housewife."
Despite a slew of failed relationships, Simpson — who recently admitted that Dallas Cowboy quarterback Tony Romo dumped her on her 29th birthday — says she still loves men.
"What is attractive to me about a man is a man’s spirituality," she says. "Just the way that he carries himself. I kind of like a rough man a little bit. A man's man."
Simpson turns 30 this year. What happens if she doesn't find The One by the time she's 40?
"I'm going to have Ken's baby," she said, referring to her hairstylist-BFF Ken Paves.
Added Paves, "I think we’d actually have a cute baby."
Kidding aside, Simpson – who split from husband Nick Lachey in 2005 – said: "I hope to fall in love and do it the picture perfect way."
