Mommy and me! Bethenny Frankel and her adorable 2-year-old daughter Bryn spent some quality time together around Union Square in New York City on Thursday, Jan. 31, just one day after Jason Hoppy spent time with Bryn during a carefree stroll through the streets.
Frankel, 42, looked to be in good spirits as she and Bryn left the Imagine School of Swimming early Thursday morning, with Bryn still donning a pair of pink-rimmed goggles. The busy entrepreneur and Hoppy, 41, have been doting parents to their only daughter even amid their ugly split.
Yesterday, the pharmaceutical rep was photographed sharing a smile with a giggly pink-clad Bryn as they marched through the streets of New York. He still wore his wedding band very visibly on his left ring finger.
On Thursday, Jan. 24, three weeks after Frankel initially filed for divorce, Hoppy fired back with papers of his own demanding a litany of requests to match the Skinny Girl founder's stipulations — including primary custody of Bryn, child support, medical and dental expenses, and "exclusive use and occupancy" of the couple's $5 million, four-bedroom Tribeca apartment.
Frankel sat down with Ellen DeGeneres earlier this month, saying that she felt like a "failure" for not being able to make the couple's two-year marriage.
"Do I want to be doing this exact thing right now? No, but I can't just only be on reality TV and show everything when it's fairy princess, fairy tale and then not take my hits when I have to," Frankel told the talk show host. "I've kind of had the best worst year ever."
"I feel like a failure," she continued. "I really put it out there. I wanted the fairy tale. I thought I had it. And Bryn is my fairy tale."
But for the time being, Frankel is making the best of her new single parent status, tweeting about having an impromptu playdate with another mother-daughter duo on Thursday.
"Only in NY. We picked up a mommy & her daughter at Starbucks & went to their playroom at their apt," she tweeted. "Making new friends."
