All he wants to do is dance! Donald Faison is ready to tear up the floor at pal Jessica Simpson's wedding to Eric Johnson over the July 4th holiday weekend. Speaking with Us Weekly at the premiere of his new movie, Wish I Was Here—written and directed by his BFF Zach Braff—the former Scrubs star said he planned to let loose at the couple's nuptials.
"I'm very excited for it," he told Us. (Faison's wife, CaCee Cobb, is the bride-to-be's best friend and former assistant.) "It will be fun to kick back, dance, and shake my tail feather at a wedding," he quipped.
As Us previously reported, Simpson, 33, and her former NFL player fiance, 34, are set to marry in Santa Barbara during the first weekend in July—"but Jess keeps going back and forth on locales," a source said. One thing that's for sure? The guest list, which includes Faison and Cobb.
The Scrubs alum, 40, also dished to Us about his son Rocco, 10 months, whom he and Cobb welcomed last August. (Faison is also dad to four kids from previous relationships.)
"He's standing, he's laughing," the proud father said of his baby boy's milestones. "He's been laughing for a while, but he's standing now. He's about to take his first step. He's the most awesome kid on the planet." Cobb, 36, is "really good" at being a mom, he added. "It's good."
