Katie Cassidy had no intention of dating another actor, but Entourage alum Jerry Ferrara was able to change her mind.
"She wasn't sure at first," a pal of the former Gossip Girl actress recently told Us Weekly. "He kept asking her out, and she finally said yes. Now she's so happy she did!"
The couple of five months were spotted holding hands on August 12 in Vancouver, where Cassidy is filming the new CW series Arrow with Stephen Amell and Willa Holland. After a flirty lunch at the Mill, they strolled along the harbor and kissed at a crosswalk, says an eyewitness. "He makes her laugh," a source says.
Ferrara — who split with Jamie-Lynn Sigler in 2009 — hasn't just won over Cassidy, according to her pal: "He's won over her friends and family!"
Prior to dating Ferrara, Cassidy romanced singer/actor Jesse McCartney, 25, and Los Angeles Kings player Jarret Stoll, 30. Arrow premieres October 10 at 8 p.m. EST on The CW.
