Sick of the tired old witch costume for Halloween?
Try on a new trick-or-treat style with a look inspired by the girls from TLC's Toddlers & Tiaras. In this how-to video, series stars Eden Wood and MaKenzie Myers — along with a few of their friends — offer must-have tips and tricks to perfect your pageant princess look this season.
Here are a few of our favorites:
1. Load up on the hairspray. Much to Eden's chagrin, this hair lacquer is an absolute must. "I don't really like hairspray. I can't even breathe. I can feel it right now in my mouth," laments Eden in the above how-to clip. And when perfecting your coif, don't forget a hairpiece!
2. Whether you're battling for a glitz pageant title or just want to impress the neighbors with your Halloween costume, it's important to put your best face forward with the right makeup. But remember, as MaKenzie says, pick the right colors. "I don't like blue. Blue is for boys!"
3. Before you bite into that hard Halloween candy, make sure to remove your flipper. As Carmen knows, these fake teeth help polish off the right pageant princess look: "They make your smile bigger!"
4. As with any ensemble, accessories are important. Whether it's earrings or a "ni-ni" pacifier like MaKenzie always has on hand, choose your add-ons wisely.
