Usher Postpones European Tour to Focus on Sons, The Voice

Something's gotta give!

Usher's European Euphoria tour, originally slated to kick off in January 2013, will be postponed until the fall of that year, the multiplatinum R&B singer announced via his official website September 26. "The feeling of euphoria that I get when performing for you is indescribable. I love each and every one of you and thank you for being there every step of the way," the 33-year-old said a statement.

He added, "I truly appreciate and am grateful for your support while I take this time to focus on my children and continue to evolve with my fans. Evolve or evaporate."

Usher's rescheduled Euphoria tour dates will be announced next year.

The pop star is still slated to perform a headlining concert at the world class Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort in Cancun on December 29.

On August 24, Usher was awarded primary custody of sons Usher Raymond V, 4, and Naviyd Raymond, 3 (with stylist ex-wife Tameka Foster, 41). "I was born to do what I'm doing as a dad," Usher said on Oprah's Next Chapter September 16. "I realized that once I had a child. When I had them, that's when they became a priority."

Three weeks after the judge's ruling, NBC announced the "U Got It Bad" chart topper and Latin singing sensation Shakira, 35, would be replacing Cee Lo Green, 38, and Christina Aguilera, 31, as mentors on The Voice in season 4. They will join veterans Adam Levine, 33, and Blake Shelton, 36.
