After Ramona Singer and Heather Thomson battled it out yet again at a party Monday on The Real Housewives of New York City, Singer, 55, blogs with Us Weekly about her side of their heated exchange.
What an episode! I don't even know where to begin! First, I must say I am embarrassed about how I reacted to Heather at Sonja in the City's party for Jana Bullock. I was definitely emotional and outspoken. I couldn't contain myself when I overhead Heather so I just screamed and dashed away. It was a bit of a hit and run! It just seems to me that Heather double talks. She will say one thing, then completely contradicts herself later. First, she said that I'm crazy, and then she says to Mario [Singer] and Aviva [Drescher], "No, I said Ramona acted crazy."
Aviva stood up for me, and Heather was truly shocked that she did. It was very funny when Heather asked Aviva why she was defending me and not her. "[Because] You're indefensible!" Aviva was truly being supportive of me that night. Let's face it, it is not easy to go up against Heather and LuAnn [de Lesseps] in one evening!
Besides being a top plastic surgeon, Dr. Sharon Giese also does nonsurgical procedures to help maintain firmness of your body, which is what I go to her for. Even though I work out and eat healthy, sometimes you just need a little something extra. Getting into a bikini is always a woman's worst nightmare. We never think we look good enough. We are our own toughest critic. I even wore my hot pink bikini when I went to the Doctor's office. I decided to try this stimulation on my butt that would make it more toned. I have done Vela Shape before and this was a new technique that I wanted to try. I have to say I was not expecting the sensation between my legs. It was a shocker! I'm sticking to Vela Shape. LOL.
One Step Ahead is a wonderful foundation founded by the very strong and inspiring Amy Palmiero-Winters. To see the look on the young boy's face when he put on his mechanical legs and was walking and running was priceless! It was so moving and I was happy I was able to play a role by donating money to provide this for the children. I had planned to go to the actual event to support Aviva. I was all dressed and ready to go. I was even wearing my favorite SoulCycle yoga pants (they are the best!). I was going to an appointment and then straight to the event at the gym. I had a procedure done to remove dead skin cells on my face, but my skin is so sensitive that I had a poor reaction and my face was inflamed and red. I had to go right home and put ice on it. I did not go anywhere. I was housebound. I felt terrible as I did want to attend.
I was quite shocked though how Aviva reacted to Sonja [Morgan] regarding her not attending. Sonja has had her dog, Millou, for eighteen years. As far as Sonja is concerned, Millou is her first child. You need to own a dog to understand the deep love you have for them. When my dog Coco gets sick, I go bonkers and won't leave her side. Millou had a very serious problem and Sonja had to stay with her. Aviva would never leave her sick child, so why would she expect Sonja to leave her sick dog? Dogs become a huge part of your family. At least at the end of the lunch, we all came together after everyone let it all hang out. Wasn't sure if we were going to get there, and Aviva actually scared me with her outburst. I didn't know who she was at that moment. I had never seen her like that up to this point.
