Beauty comes in every shape and size!

When Melissa McCarthy couldn't find a dress to wear to the 2011 Emmy Awards, she designed her own. But that wasn't the Bridesmaids' star's first foray into fashion: she's been in the process of designing her own plus-sized clothing line for women to help them "feel good about themselves."

So who exactly does the 41-year-old envision wearing the clothes from her line? "Whoever will wear it!" she told Us Weekly at the Ma Mere/Art Pere Night to benefit Livestrong Thursday night in L.A. (Guests were all served Fatburger at the Ferrari sponsored fete.) "I just want people to wear it and feel good about themselves. I haven't thought about anyone else but me! Its just a lame way to get me clothes I want."

"I went to school for clothes and textiles, so I always thought I was going to do women's clothing anyway," McCarthy explained. "[Then I went] from FIT to doing standup, so I feel like I am going back to it."

In an interview last month with the Hollywood Reporter, the mom of Vivian, 4, and Georgette, 1, revealed that she didn't stop being insecure about her physical appearance until the birth of her daughters. "The stupid stuff like what I wear or how I look I can't control, so I just try not to give too much energy to it," she said. "At 20, I would have been like: 'Don't they like me? Was it my hair?' At 41, I think the things that define me, I hope, are a lot more than those kinds of petty things."
