Losing weight is not an easy thing to do. And while it's ultimately up to you to drop those unwanted pounds, motivation to do so is often right in front of you. Jennifer Lopez

"You get to the point where you're like, 'Where am I? What happened to me?' I got to get myself together for my kids, you know? They need to know what I really look like."

Always proud of her curves, the 42-year-old says it was her twins, Emme and Max, who inspired her to lose the 50 pounds she gained during her pregnancy.

Jordin Sparks

"Every time someone sees a slimmed-down picture of me, it's not because I felt the pressure of the girl next to me being size 2. It's just making the choice for myself to be healthier, because I know that I'm less sick when I'm more active; I have more energy when I'm more active."

The Sparkle actress, 22, explains how the motivation behind her 30-pound weight loss was her health and not a desire to fit the Hollywood mold.

Ricki Lake

"I am really getting in great shape. I will be wearing less and less clothing the smaller I get. I am feeling more comfortable in my own skin."

The former talk show host, 43, talks about how losing weight gave her a new sense of body confidence. Ricki lost 13 inches and 15 pounds during her first month on season 13 of Dancing with the Stars.

Jennifer Hudson

"I'm prouder of my weight loss than my Oscar!"

The 30-year-old mom to son David, 2, should be proud; thanks to hard work and the help of Weight Watchers and celeb trainer Harley Pasternak, she lost a total of 80 pounds and gave her life a total 360.

Jennifer Love Hewitt

"For the most part, yeah, I'm happy with my body, but there are days when I'm like, 'Ugh! Really? Why is it so hard to fit into my jeans?' That's when I say to myself, 'I look this way because I'm supposed to. If we all looked the same, we'd be boring.'"

The Client List star, 33, talks about being at peace with her body. Hewitt's no stranger to being under media scrutiny when it comes to her weight. After years of ups and downs, she has adopted a fitness program and healthy diet that is easy — and fun! — for her to maintain.

Kelly Osbourne

"If you want to lose weight for good, you need to make a commitment to a life change. You have to say, 'I'm just not going to eat that anymore. I'm going to change my bad habits.' Otherwise, you'll spend the rest of your life yo-yoing and you'll be miserable. By no means is it easy. Getting in shape is one of the hardest things I've ever done."

Osbourne, 27, is one of the biggest weight-loss success stories to come from DWTS; she lost an amazing 42 pounds! After the show ended, the E! correspondent kept up a regular fitness routine and stuck to a healthy diet. She knows that weight loss is about making a total lifestyle change.
