Are they or aren't they? Even Josh Hutcherson seems puzzled about the nature of his relationship with Vanessa Hudgens, his costar in Journey 2: The Mysterious Island.
"Oh, boy. I don't know if 'dating' is the right word," he tells the October issue of Seventeen. "She's awesome. We love being together."
"When I first met her, we really hit it off," Hutcherson adds of the actress, 22. "We could be goofy and silly and not worry about anything except having fun. I adore her."
So what does Hutcherson, 18, look for in a significant other? "I like girls I can have deep conversations with. The meaning of life and existence — you can go on forever about that stuff," he tells Seventeen. "When girls play the ditzy-dumb thing, I'm like, 'Oh, God, please stop.'"
As for his perfect date? "Going to the beach, sitting under the stars and listening to music," the actor, who next appears in The Hunger Games, says. "The cliches are cheesy, but I love them!"
