In his scene, filmed in London, Pitt sat in a white chair dressed in a brown Western-style suit, cowboy boots, white cowboy hat and big gold belt buckle. And Pitt's long locks and mustache (which has been growing out for a while) were put to good use to complete the cowboy ensemble.

The actor has a small part in the upcoming film about a lawyer who gets involved with the drug business, which also stars Michael Fassbender, Javier Bardem, Cameron Diaz and Penelope Cruz. The Counselor is based on an original screenplay by No Country for Old Men novelist Cormac McCarthy and Pitt stars as Westray, a man who helps the lawyer (Fassbender) obtain a $20 million stash of cocaine. Pitt's fiance, Angelina Jolie, was initially being considered to play Diaz's role in the film.

"I'm only doing a few days on that," Pitt told Empire about his role in the movie back in May. "Andrew [Dominik] and I are both Cormac McCarthy fans —- I mean, I've read every word the guy's published and most of them more than once. So this was a chance to do something of his and also to work with Ridley again. Ridley gave me my first break into the big leagues [in 1991's Thelma & Louise]. And I'm a Fassbender fanatic too."
