Kelsey and Kayte Grammer feted their expanding family together with the help of twenty loved ones at Chicago hotspot Drumbar Tuesday night.
On the guest list? Kelsey’s Boss costars Kathleen Robertson, Sanaa Lathan, Jonathan Groff, and Hannah Ware.
Throughout the course of the evening, partygoers sipped La Marca Prosecco (except for Kayte, who enjoyed a specialty mocktail) and played baby shower games.
“Kelsey and Kayte were so cute together–he helped her open every gift!” a witness tells Us Weekly. “He was by her side the entire time. He was totally into it, everyone seemed like a big cute family.”
Kelsey Grammer wed former flight attendant Kayte (nee Walsh) in a lavish February 2011 ceremony. The Frasier star is already a dad of four — he has two children with his ex, Camille Grammer (of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fame), sons Mason and Jude, actress Spencer Grammer with his first wife Doreen, and daughter Kandace with ex-girlfriend Barrie Buckner.
In January, Grammer couldn’t help but gush when asked about his excitement to start a family with his new bride. Kayte will be “extraordinary” as a mother,” he told reporters at the Golden Globes. “She is one of the most loving, warm human beings.”
