"I'm just so happy that ABC found a home where the legacies of All My Children and One Life to Live can continue," Agnes Nixon, the creator of both soaps, told Us Weekly in a statement Thursday. "I'm excited for their future with Prospect Park. It takes a lot of living to make a soap opera a serial, and the wonderful teams on both shows have done just that."

One Life to Live premiered in 1968, followed by All My Children in 1970. Stars like Ryan Phillippe, Nathan Fillion, Marcia Cross, Tommy Lee Jones, Judith Light and Yasmine Bleeth got their start on OLTL.

AMC, meanwhile, gave breaks to future A-listers like Sarah Michelle Gellar, Michelle Trachtenberg, Melissa Leo, Kelly Ripa, Josh Duhamel, Eva LaRue, Christian Slater, Rosie O'Donnell and Amanda Seyfried.

While no date has been confirmed for the shows' online premieres, All My Children's finale airs September 23, and One Life to Live wraps in January 2012.
