A good Samaritan recently reached out to Mark Ruffalo via Twitter after finding the actor's wallet in a Chicago cab

Sometimes even the Hulk needs help! Mark Ruffalo recently lost his wallet in Chicago, but thanks to social media, the man who found it reached out to the Avengers actor to return it. The two men exchanged information via Twitter on Sunday, July 20.

"I have your wallet. Found it in a cab in chicago on Friday," handle @Trezeduet tweeted at Ruffalo. "Let me know the best way to get it back to you. Thanks."

"Thank you! Wow!" the star, 46, replied. "Another point for the decency in people…you are a hero!" Ruffalo then asked if he could send his information in a DM message.

TMZ identified the good Samaritan as Ross McHale, who hilariously enough, admitted that he didn't know who Ruffalo was by looking at his I.D. To get it back to the acclaimed actor, he had to Google him.

Ruffalo was in Chicago at the time to serve as a grand marshal at an auto race at Chicagoland Speedway.
