It’s tough to be a Hough! Derek Hough revealed in an interview with Us Weekly it’s been exhausting and “grueling” being on tour with sister Julianne Hough at the Kellogg’s Recharge Bar event on June 26 in New York City.
The siblings, who paired up for their Move Live on Tour, have been hitting city after city dancing up a storm ever since kicking off their performances on May 25.
“It’s grueling,” Derek tells Us of the 42-stop tour, “It’s like running a marathon every single night. It’s insanely difficult but insanely fun.”
The Dancing With the Stars champ went on to talk how he fuels up for their traveling show.
“Being a dancer and an artistic athlete we consume so much energy…I eat cereal every morning,” the choreographer says, adding “I love Special K!…to get your metabolism going.”
