Brandi Glanville's messy divorce drama has played out in the media and on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for years, and now the single 40-year-old has found a new way to cash in on her heartbreak. According to Glanville, her recently released tell-all book, Drinking and Tweeting: And Other Brandi Blunders, may be adapted into a screenplay.
"Just had a talk about turning my book into a movie!" Glanville tweeted Feb. 25. "Maybe we should pitch it to Lifetime. An unromantic comedy!"
The tweet was a clear jab at Glanville's ex-husband, Eddie Cibrian, who began having an affair with then-married singer/actress LeAnn Rimes on the set of Lifetime's Northern Lights in 2008. The costars, who later divorced their respective spouses, tied the knot in May 2011.
In Glanville's memoir, the Bravo reality star doesn't mince her words when it comes to Rimes, whom she describes as "washed up," "Eddie's future ex," "what's-her-face" and "f-cking ruthless."
"When LeAnn set her sights on Eddie, she was relentless about getting him, and the damage her decision would cause never seemed to register," wrote Glanville, who shares custody of 9-year-old Mason and 5-year-old Jake with Cibrian, 39. "She won. I'll give her that. But she also won a marriage full of doubt, insecurities and a perpetual voice in her head saying, 'Is he telling the truth?' For that, I pity her."
