With the help of colorist Tracey Cunningham, Emma Stone, 22, went back to her signature red hair color during an MTV-sponsored preview of her latest movie, The Help, in L.A. on Thursday.

"Emma loved going back to her natural blonde, but she feels very comfortable as a redhead and it's the color she gravitates to. Plus, she wanted an exciting shade for summer!" Cunningham tells Us Weekly.

The Golden Globe nominee went blonde in December for her role as Gwen Stacy in The Amazing Spider-Man. Always a good sport, Stone readily embraced her new look. "My natural hair is blonde, so it's kind of nice," Stone told MTV. "I looked in the mirror and said, 'Oh my god, it's me again! It's been so long!'"

So what does she think about being a redhead again? "She's really happy with the results," says her colorist.

And the actress isnt' the only one who loves the fiery hue. "Emma's color is one of the most requested ones I get. People are always bringing in pictures of her and asking for her shade," says Cunningham.
